I appreciate you brother and your comments and prayerful meditations on various writings through the year. Thank you . You encourage others and me very much!
GOD bless you, Donald and Hephzibah. I Love you both dearly.
Donald. Your letters are amazing. With each new story, there is something even more profound and insightful, all your writings have immensely blessed all of us. The Holy Spirit is clearly leading you. Well, done. Praise the LORD!
And Hephzibah, wow, what wonderful pure devotion to the LORD you have. Your Love for GOD shines and has inspired and encouraged me greatly. Well, done. Praise the LORD!
Called to write and encourage others on Substack.
"One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent!" Acts 18:9 NLT
May I share something with you two. The LORD called me to write and encourage others on Substack a little after the Covid plandemic started in 2019. I wasn't assigned to create my own Substack letter at the time but to support others in the comments. I prayed that the LORD would pick the people He wanted me to support. Hence, He did one person after another, primarily doctors speaking out against what was, as a fact, occurring during the Covid / Vaccine devastation, which to date is still harming people worldwide as the next plandemic is on the near horizon, possibly now the H5N1 bird flu.
Later, the LORD picked others for me to support, including many kind-hearted and sincere people who joined the fight with the doctors, speaking out to warn everyone, most of whom are not Christians yet. However, they have a love for the welfare of others that still shames us, Christians. They don't even know the LORD but care more about others than most of us do. Yes, we should take note.
Then the LORD started speaking to me about writing my Substack, extending my efforts to care about the welfare of others. So, the LORD kept speaking to me about writing my own Substack post, but I resisted because I thought nobody would listen to what I had to say. Almost a whole year went by before I started it. Finally, I obeyed His command and did exactly what He told me to do.
My first two letters were written to the general public (everyone, anyone) because I saw innocent, unaware people being harmed and killed (murdered) all around me by Covid and the Vaccine. I couldn't sit back anymore, just making comments, so I became a member of "the fight most worthy" to warn others, mainly of the dangers of the Vaccine. Then, the LORD led me to write out my Christian testimony. I didn't know what was coming after that letter until I finished it, and then He told me I want you to write an in-depth verse-by-verse Bible study in the book of Jonah, which I am doing now.
We are commanded to encourage.
"Therefore, encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 BSB
So, with that short history, let me share something else with you both. Why do we encourage each other?
It is true. No doubt we all Love the LORD and want to serve Him from a loving and humble heart, doing those things that will please Him most.
"He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep." John 21:17 ESV
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!" 133:1 ESV
We love Jesus. Consequently, we must Love His Church, too. We are commanded to love one another, encourage, watch over, warn, instruct, help, and support each other because this not only aids us but also pleases the LORD, who we Love above all things. It is He who has joined us together as a family in Love. We are no longer operating alone. No one is an island to themselves anymore. We're all working together because we need each other. Each of us has been uniquely gifted not to help ourselves but to help one another.
"As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another."
Yes, we are all imperfect people. We still sin, need to repent, and have many faults, but we have been called to be unified in the Spirit and Love for one another.
"Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your Love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future." Ephesians 4:2-4 NLT
Still talking about Christian unity, listen to what Matthew Henry, who lived from 1662 to 1714, said in his Concise Commentary on 1 Corinthians 12:12-26
"Christ and his Church form one body, as Head and members. Christians become members of this body by baptism. The outward rite is of Divine institution; it is a sign of the new birth, and is called therefore the washing of regeneration, Tit 3:5. But it is by the Spirit, only by the renewing of the Holy Ghost, that we are made members of Christ's body. And by communion with Christ at the Lord's supper, we are strengthened, not by drinking the wine, but by drinking into one Spirit. Each member has its form, place, and use. The meanest makes a part of the body. There must be a distinction of members in the body. So, Christ's members have different powers and different places. We should do the duties of our own place, and not murmur, or quarrel with others. All the members of the body are useful and necessary to each other. Nor is there a member of the body of Christ but may and ought to be useful to fellow members. As in the natural body of man, the members should be closely united by the strongest bonds of Love; the good of the whole should be the object of all. All Christians are dependent one upon another; each is to expect and receive help from the rest. Let us then have more of the spirit of union in our religion."
And also, as wise King Solomon said in the Bible, "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT
We must be united as a church that Loves the LORD and one another above all else, especially now as the days grow darker. Yes, we need one another more now than ever.
Know that the body of Christ is more effective in ministry when we all work together for the same outcomes, as one sows, another reaps, encouraging one another as we reach out to the lost, those who are yet to be granted Salvation. It is the LORD who put us together by His selection to serve Him in Love and obedience as we grow together in unity more and more.
"I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and conviction." 1 Corinthians 1:10 BSB
Now beware because we are at war!
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them." Ephesians 5:11 NKJV
Know that the LORD is shaking (purging, cleansing) the body of Christ right now. Removing false Christians (not genuine), false teachers, those teaching heresies that are leading the real followers of Jesus astray.
Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division [between believers and unbelievers]." Luke 12:51 AB
Many are being exposed as the Bible warned us that there would be a great apostasy within the Church in the last days. I see many Christians here on Substack called to expose them, the false teachers, which is what the Bible teaches us to do. GOD bless all those and their affords who are called to this much-needed ministry to warn the LORD's people of these dangers.
"For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" 1 Peter 4:17 ESV
Beware, we are under attack!
"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the Devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8 NLT
An Ungodly division
Let me share something with you both that has saddened my heart deeply. Now, we need to be aware that there is another division taking place in the Church, an ungodly one coming from the Devil. Christians are dividing over many things we shouldn't divide over. Yes, we must divide over anything different from the essentials of the Christian faith, such as the deity Christ, Salvation by grace, not works, Salvation through Jesus Christ alone, assurance of Salvation, the resurrection, the new birth, the gospel, and so on, we need to know them all.
The Devil and his fallen angels are busy successfully separating us over nonessential matters because they know that when apart, we become weaker and an easy target for them, our enemies, those dark forces behind the scenes, and those people used by them outside the Church and within it to attack us, crippling us sometimes with depression, many worries, unnecessary stress, confusion, sadness, and more.
For example, some believe the rapture will happen at the beginning of the tribulation, some believe in the middle, and some believe at the end or that the rapture will not happen at all, convinced that we will pass through the tribulation period. We are becoming more divided over other lesser issues when we can rightfully have different views on the nonessentials.
Some worship by singing bible hymns, while others praise GOD with an electric guitar and band. Some eat a special diet while others don't. Some watch old movies while others don't. Sadly, we are dividing over too many things we shouldn't, which is not pleasing to the LORD.
"But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ predicted. They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God's Spirit in them." Jude 1:17-19 NLT
We are His Church, His family, our family, the one that the LORD died for, the one He Loves, the one we Love. So, let's continue to encourage and watch out for one another in Love more and more and be alert to unnecessary division. No doubt, it is an attack on the Church by the Devil himself to divide us for things we must not divide over.
"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put-on Love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:12-17 ESV
Once more, may we all be reminded to stay united, not divided, as the days ahead become more perilous.
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have Love for one another." John 13:34-35 ESV
Dear beloved brother and sister. May the LORD keep us united to continue serving in Holy devotion to Him above all else.
When I woke up one morning shortly after my sister passed into glory, two and a half years ago, I knew I heard the Father. He told me to write this column. I said I’m not a writer. Over the next few months it came clearer as I wrote. Now I’m into writing a book series, that though I still say Why Lord, there are so many writers…. who will read?…book 1 has made a difference, that I know of, in one man’s life positively. We are writing out of obedience. Thank you for your kind words. I too, am completing other assignments. Assignments in Time Book 2 is nearly done and Book 3,4& 5 are being written. 6 and 7 are in outline form.
On a new column I Will also be writing a series on Sound Money , Sound Mind and collectibles. Do we understand Gods message on developing a wholeness? It will lead to an opening to an imbedded video on business. The Lord has taken our family down different ( unplanned on our parts) roads since Covid. I cherish your observance. Thanks again.
Wow, praise GOD, isn't the LORD good to us Don. I will continue to pray for you and your family as He leads you down unknown parts. Yes, truly, we are writing out of obedience. It's always about that one soul, lost or already found. The LORD will care for the rest as we trust Him above all else. No sorry is needed, Don.
As you already know, I'm all about saying a lot. Thank you for the kind response. Many blessings to you brother.
James.

Dear Hephzibah, when I posted this response, it reversed it, so please start at part #1 on the bottom and then read the top part #2 or look at Donald's if needed. It's the same. GOD bless!

Dear beloved brother and sister. May the LORD keep us united to continue serving in Holy devotion to Him above all else.
Thank you James & totally take on board all you have shared and stated, yet also we must exercise Godly divine wisdom in all matters and things and consult our Heavenly father about all matters and be quick and willing to obey as those faithful in little and least will then be able to be faithful in far greater matters. I understand there is lots to go into and can't sufficiently cover it in merely a comment here, and as long as we walk according to the spirit and have a true holy intimate relationship moment by moment submitting completely wholly fully to Heavenly father and Jesus as our head & obey as He won't lead us astray ever! We also indeed love our enemies, and do good to those who hate us. And seek peace and pursue it. But I certainly will not ever be uniting with those who are of their father the devil, or part of mystery babylon & who are actively worshipping and bowing down to the beast and serving an antichrist in place of and ultimately against the real true Jesus as the Living Christ of the Gospels & all He teaches, as we must obey God as our complete authority whom we allow to completely rule over us rather than man, though we exercise the fruits of the Holy Spirit in all our dealings with everyone no matter whom they are and we obviously recognise the authority of carnal governments that God allows to be a terror to evil works, and we pay our taxes, render Ceasar's things to Ceaser and Gods things to God and ultimately when we obey our father in heaven we go above and beyond most people's understanding of obedience and to the laws of the land unless they ask of us to go against what Heavenly father asks of us.
Hence refusing certain healthcare & Pharmakia etc. We also uphold all of God's truths and not ever to deny Jesus no matter what, even if it means our physical life being put to death, nor are we to be compromising any of God's truths due to cowardice or joining on the path of the broadway of the majority that only leads to destruction,as many are they that enter thereby. Few are the ones that strive to enter by the narrow door, for many shall seek to enter & shall not be able Jesus said, & that find the narrow gate and walk upon it, straight is the way that leads unto life, (Matt 7 & Luke 13)
but that doesn't mean we are to be filled with hate, hatred, we are not hateful, rude, cruel antagonistic, nor ever violent to anyone, nor argumentative, debating at times yes, but with gentleness & we are to speak God's truths in love with love and that today is sadly seen as highly offensive and hateful when it actually isn't, it is the epitome of God's love and saving grace, but to those who are willing and as the Holy Spirit leads and guides us, we are not to be affected by the worlds trends but by our father in heaven only & always,Jesus will always be countercultural, keeps us safe as we hide and abide in Him & we lose our lives & in Jesus to then find it, even if that means being hated by everyone for Jesus' name sake, that is an incredible honour and privilege & of course we would not ever align ourselves nor unite ourselves with those who ultimately deceived and deceiving others. We do not join in the ecumenical deception that is so blatant and obvious even in this platform, and of coexist teaching that all faiths and man made religious organisations institutions and the traditions of men and of the 45,000 denominations and non denominations especially those government approved and tax exempt charity status etc fema trained pastor's/elders etc etc as they have chosen not to obey Jesus' words at all in John 17 or in worshipping God in spirit and in truth & are all now coming together under a false premise of supposed unity under the false prophet. Who looks like a lamb but siesks like a dragon. Those truly Jesus' take no part in this illusion, lie and deception, but stand firm, solid, steadfast immovable unshakable unwavering upon the rock Jesus so the gates of hell will never prevail against the true body of Jesus Christ ever! Those who have been overcome by the gates of hell are not part of Jesus' body.
I always think about the second world war and how sadly many Christians compromised in Germany under Hitler and how it was only the minority that managed to stand boldly for all of God's truths against that.
How can two walk together unless they be agreed? Amos 3:3-8
We have to first come into agreement with our heavenly father in all He says, states & teaches, through Him, His word and by illumation via His holy Spirit and it is His power that is at work in all those truly His & we are admonished to walk as Jesus walked and take on board His example as the living Christ lives in us and through us and in loving obedience, He works and to will in us through His good pleasure when we submit. Those born again in the Spirit have God's indwelling spirit to lead and guide them into all truth and to bring forth fruits of the Holy Spirit, whom take no pleasure in unrighteousness but have a love for the truth, God's truths & we are to be conformed more & more into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, the true Jesus as the Living Christ not ever to the patterns of this world. We deny self and pick up our cross daily. We exemplify Him and His character nature image & likeness and our lives are to be alot like His. He left us an example to follow in His footsteps closely and He enables and empowers us to be able to do so. Ours is the way of the cross. We are crucified to the world as it is to us. We do not love the world nor the things in it.
"But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men." Acts 5:29 ESV
Dear Hephzibah, yes, many times to everything you said. Rightfully so, we must never make even one compromise for truth for the sake of unity. I'm with you 100%. We serve GOD and not man first and foremost.
"Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 10:39 ESV
We love the LORD and obey Him above all things. Losing our lives for the sake of Christ, yes, my beloved sister. Amen and Amen.
"But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity." 2 Timothy 2:19 ESV
The LORD knows those who are His, the remnant body of true believers. Yes, His church still remains, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. Truly, the day draws near when the LORD will separate the sheep from the goats.
Matthew 25:31-46 KJB "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Matthew 25:31-46 KJB
Dear beloved, I love your uncompromising resolution to stand for the truth no matter the cost. Be encouraged to continue fighting the good fight. Well, done, sister.
"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:12 ESV
I Love you, Hephzibah. May we all continue to be united in our Love for the LORD and one another as times become even darker.
"By this, all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35 ESV
This is wonderful! Thank you James, over half way through yet still got the rest to read. It's jam-packed full of necessary imperative information that will want to go back to again to deeply absorb and reflect over. It's sad & actually heartbreaking that repentance renewal transformation and regeneration as well as sanctification and obedience that all is derived from Jesus Christ heavenly father & the Holy Spirit in the first place is seen and spoken of as works, as merely dirty filthy rags and even unnecessary, that we are actually encouraged, expected to grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to bring forth fruits that befit repentance & Jesus' righteousnes and Jesus' character nature image and likeness to be developed in us that is brought about by grace through faith, God does it in us but we must be willing to co-operate with God in this phenomenal process, instead obedience and reciprocating God's love that He loved us with first is seen and taught as something shameful prideful or arrogancy, that our father in heaven is always angry & never pleased with anything we do that He empowers us & enables us to in and through Him to will and to work for His good pleasure. But this truth has become so sadly distorted and perverted and deeply misunderstood today.
The call to repentance from sin is for all people everywhere.
"God overlooked people's ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him." Acts 17:30 NLT
"It's sad & actually heartbreaking that repentance renewal transformation and regeneration as well as sanctification and obedience that all is derived from Jesus Christ, heavenly father & the Holy Spirit in the first place is seen and spoken of as works, as merely dirty filthy rags and even unnecessary" Hephzibah.
Dear Hephzibah, it comforts me that you understand how important it is to have a sound comprehension of repentance now more than ever. With the world getting darker by the hour and evil of all kinds permeating all levels of our society, we need to be made aware of how the influences of these ungodly perversions will and have led people away from the LORD so repentance needs to be talked about, understood and put into sincere practice by all, or we will suffer the consequences of unrepentance, as most notable fallen nations, such as my own the United States of America, it is now under GOD's judgment for unrepentant sin, it has become one of the most evil Nations in the world, no debate needed to state this fact.
"Then one night the LORD appeared to Solomon and said, I have heard your prayer and have chosen this Temple as the place for making sacrifices. At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you.
"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." 2 Chronicles 7:12-14 NLT
We have all heard this scripture quoted a lot lately, here spoken to Solomon for the people of Israel, but most importantly, it outlines a perfect example of repentance and the way the LORD has arranged it in this order-- humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, and the LORD will hear from Heaven and forgive our sins.
"Humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins." verse 7:14
Yes, it's about deliverance, "renewal transformation and regeneration as well as sanctification and obedience" Hephzibah.
Here is a quote from the study. Please check out these two links to better understand the subject.
Knowing the LORD up close through repentance and confession, how are they connected?
If we confess our sins / Grace to you/ John MacArthur
"If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth." 1 John 1:8 NLT
Transgression: sin, wrongdoing, offense, ungodliness, unrighteousness, immorality, iniquity, profanity, wickedness, evil, an offense against GOD, a violation, a separation, a hardening of the heart.
Repentance: a sincere regret or remorseful sorrow for sins committed, shame for sinful actions, changing one's mind and heart, turning away from sin, a turnaround, surrender, the start of a new life to walk with the LORD, a desire to draw nearer to GOD as He draws nearer to you.
Confession: acknowledgment of our sin, willingly recognizing our sin, declarations of wrongdoings or guilt, confession of an offense against GOD and others, admission of sin, admitting our sins before GOD, and asking for forgiveness.
Sanctification: declaring us holy and making holy as an ongoing action, being set apart, set free from sin and death by the blood of Christ.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 NIV
Repentance isn't about fear and discouragement or condemnation. No, it's about freedom, joy, and unimaginable peace. It's grabbing hold of the victory over sin in Christ our LORD. Yes, we are the overcomers, and confession of sin doesn't reduce the finished work of Christ on our behalf, but it's the continuation of it through sanctification. It ushers us in before the throne of GOD so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Continuously confessing our known and unknown transgressions before the LORD is how we are renewed and restored. We confess our sins to please the LORD and draw closer to Him daily. In turn, confession should be what we wholeheartedly desire, without any reservations, to be holy as He is holy, transformed, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. We are being made Holy, set apart for the LORD's Kingdom, more and more, day by day.
"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 ESV
Intimately drawing close to the LORD, yes, it is all about the condition of our hearts.
"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 ESV
"But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear." Isaiah 59:2 BSB

Christian unity
Part#2

Sorry so long!!- Don
Wow, praise GOD, isn't the LORD good to us Don. I will continue to pray for you and your family as He leads you down unknown parts. Yes, truly, we are writing out of obedience. It's always about that one soul, lost or already found. The LORD will care for the rest as we trust Him above all else. No sorry is needed, Don.
As you already know, I'm all about saying a lot. Thank you for the kind response. Many blessings to you brother.
James.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20 NLT
That's to brother James isn't it? I couldn't agree more Donald! And thank you for all the encouragement and posts you share too!

Dear Hephzibah, when I posted this response, it reversed it, so please start at part #1 on the bottom and then read the top part #2 or look at Donald's if needed. It's the same. GOD bless!

I Trust You! (In the Midst of the Storm) - A song of encouragement for difficult times by Josh Snodgrass

The last part of Part #2
TRUST IN THE LORD ABOVE ALL ELSE!
GOD bless.

GOD bless you, Sister.

Thank you and amen.
Micah 3:2..you who hate the good and love the evil,
who tear the skin from off my people
and their flesh from off their bones,
3 who eat the flesh of my people,
and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones in pieces
and chop them up like meat in a pot,
like flesh in a cauldron.
4 🪔Then they will cry to the Lord,
but he will not answer them;
he will hide his face from them at that time,
because they have made their deeds evil🪔.
5 Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets
who lead my people astray,
who cry “Peace”
when they have something to eat,
but declare war against him
who puts nothing into their mouths.
6 Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision,
and darkness to you, without divination.
The sun shall go down on the prophets,
and the day shall be black over them;
7 the seers shall be disgraced,
and the diviners put to shame;
they shall all cover their lips,
for there is no answer from God.
8 But as for me, I am filled with power,
with the Spirit of the Lord,
and with justice and might,
to declare to Jacob his transgression
and to Israel his sin.
